Graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, in 1990. After graduation I returned to my home town of Milwaukee, WI in order to hone my skills in offsite catering operations. It was then time for me to step up my game in the culinary world and moved to Rye, NY where I became the banquet chef for the world acclaimed Westchester Country Club. After many Wall Street weddings and PGA golf tournaments I headed back to the Midwest to train under James Beard award winning Chef Paul Bartolotta at Chicago’s Spiaggia. I continued to spend the next 10 years of my career with Levy Restaurants as the Executive Chef of the MCI Center in Washington, DC catering to former president Bill Clinton, Executive Chef of the Freeling Room at Ravina Music Festival Chicago, IL where I feed great musicians such as Yo Yo Ma and Itzhak Perlman. Executive Chef of the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. I had the great opportunity of feeding some of the world’s top performers such as Celine Dion, Santana, Neil Diamond, U2 and many other celebrities. I then ventured into my entrepreneurial phase as the operating partner of the franchisee group to open Qdoba Mexican Grills in Las Vegas, NV. Even in this setting I had the privilege of catering for Blue Man Group. I successfully built and opened 2 locations in a one year period of time. Missing all of what Denver and Colorado had to offer, I returned to Denver as the Director of Food and Beverage at Loews Denver Hotel where I prepared dinner for stars such as Lionel Richie, ZZ Top and Dave Matthews to name a few. Three years later I made my move to become the Consulting General Manager of Second Home Kitchen and Bar for the Sage Restaurant Group in Denver’s posh Cherry Creek. At this location I prepared meals to remember for John Oats, Bill Gates, Dr. Robert Ouellet of Google, John Legend and Sheryl Crow. I am currently an independent Restaurant Consultant & Culinary Demonstration Producer which lead me to the privilege of working with "TOP CHEF" New York season winner Hosea Rosenberg and A Private Chef during the winter months in the great Rocky Mountains.
